HOW IS THE GUARANTEE IMPLEMENTED ?
1. When an AZO-AZV-MARK ULTIMATE® L’Oblique AZ®, a POLYPRO V – POLYPRO H ULTIMATE® L’Oblique AZ®, a TUB ULTIMATE® L’Oblique AZ, an ELBA VERTICFILE ULTIMATE® and/or an ELBA VERTICFLEX ULTIMATE® suspension file is "no longer serviceable", in spite of use under "normal" conditions within the period covered by its guarantee, L'Oblique undertakes to replace it.
2. Replacement is subject to validation, by any means L’Oblique considers necessary, of use in line with normal use for which our products are intended, as defined in the section HOW DO YOU DEFINE “NORMAL USE” OF A SUSPENSION FILE?
HOW DO YOU DEFINE A SUSPENSION FILE THAT IS "NO LONGER SERVICEABLE” ?
A suspension file is considered to be "no longer serviceable" when:
- It can no longer be held on the cabinet rails or drawer or in any other container adapted to the use of suspension files.
- It is no longer capable of containing documents (they fall out).
- It no longer carries out its function of indexing and can no longer be identified (the label holder is no longer held in position). This condition concerns exclusively the AZO-AZV-MARK ULTIMATE®, POLYPRO V – POLYPRO H ULTIMATE®, TUB ULTIMATE® ranges and all the other suspension files sold under L’Oblique AZ® commercial brand name. The index tab provided with ELBA VERTICFILE ULTIMATE® and ELBA VERTICFLEX ULTIMATE® suspension files are not concerned by this guarantee.
HOW DO YOU DEFINE “NORMAL USE” OF A SUSPENSION FILE ?
“Normal use” of a suspension file can be summarised under 5 main headings:
1. Suspension files are a filing tool, designed to conserve paper documents and not including any other product or material.
2. Suspension files should be used in suitable cabinets or containers, i.e. equipped with rails specially designed to hold them, bearing in mind that L’Oblique and ELBA sell two versions of the product;
- A lateral version; to be used in cabinets, on shelves, shelving units, etc. equipped with rails or tubes. Access to documents is from the side (i.e. laterally).
- A vertical version; to be used in drawers, telescopic frames, filing boxes and other suspension files containers. In these cases, access is from above (i.e. vertically).
3. Each file must be able to contain a specific quantity of documents that varies in line with the size of base used.
Each base has different dimensions that correspond to a given volume and weight:
- V shaped base è 100 sheets è less than 1 Kg.
- 15 mm wide base » 250 sheets » between 1 and 1.5 kg.
- 30 mm wide base » 350 sheets » between 1.5 and 2 Kg
- 50 mm wide base » 550 sheets » between 2 and 3 Kg.
- 80 mm wide base » 800 sheets » between 3 and 4 kg.
4. The suspension files sold under L’Oblique AZ® & Ultimate® L’Oblique AZ® commercial brand name must be linked with each other using the available mechanism; press studs or Velcro®, to enable the weight of each file to be spread properly over the entire filing system.
5. These are products used in a professional and / or private environment, in "normal" conditions of humidity and temperature: a site that is not humid and with a temperature lower than 50°.
6. Damage caused by "events of force majeure" (fire, flood, rodents, etc., or other natural catastrophe) are not covered by the L’Oblique AZ Guarantee
